  • Hand Washing: Before eating, after toilet use, after playing outside (20 seconds with soap).
  • Bathing: Daily to remove dirt, sweat, and prevent infection.
  • Oral Hygiene: Brush twice daily with fluoride toothpaste, floss, and visit the dentist biannually.
  • Nail Care: Keep nails trimmed and clean.
  • Hair Care: Wash and comb regularly to avoid lice and dandruff.
  • Clothing: Wear clean clothes daily; change socks and undergarments daily.

  • Balanced Diet: Include fruits, veggies, grains, dairy, proteins; avoid junk food and soft drinks.
  • Hydration: Drink 6โ€“8 glasses of water daily.
  • Healthy Snacks: Choose fruits, nuts, yogurt, roasted snacks.

  • Open Communication: Encourage sharing feelings and create a safe environment.
  • Limit Screen Time: Take breaks and prioritize outdoor play.
  • Sleep Hygiene: Ages 6โ€“13: 9โ€“11 hrs, 14โ€“18: 8โ€“10 hrs; consistent bedtime, no screens at night.

  • Daily Exercise: At least 60 minutes โ€“ sports, running, dancing, etc.
  • Good Posture: Avoid long screen time and maintain correct posture while studying.

  • Toilet Hygiene: Flush and wash hands. Educate girls on menstrual hygiene.
